About Us
Just One Voice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting people and local organizations to the relationships, resources, and opportunities that expand access for building stronger futures across New Orleans' underserved communities.
We envision a future where every community has the relationships, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive.
BEHIND THE WORK
The Why of Just One Voice
Just 1 Voice began with an open letter and a simple belief: lasting change requires both listening and action.
Written by founder Marty Mayer, the letter reflected on racial injustice, the limits of one’s own experience, and the responsibility to listen with humility. What started as a personal reflection became the foundation for something larger: an invitation for many voices to come together in support of dignity, respect, accountability, and lasting community-centered change.
